Spanoe (“the App”, “we”, “us”) is a countdown and date-tracking app. We care about your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App processes, why it does so, and your choices.

1. What data we collect and process / 我们处理哪些数据

1.1 Data you create in the App / 你在应用中创建的数据

The App stores the following primarily on your device:

• Event data: title, target date, repeat rules, reminder settings, pinned status.
• Category data.
• Optional cover image you choose for an event.
• App preferences (theme, notification toggle, layout, etc.).

Technical note: This data is stored using SwiftData and UserDefaults, and may be stored in an App Group container so the main app and widgets can access the same database.

1.2 Photos you select / 你选择的照片

If you choose a cover image, the App reads the photo you select, optionally lets you crop it, and stores the processed image locally as part of the event. We do not upload your photos to our servers.

1.3 Calendar holiday import / 日历节假日导入

If you use the “Holidays” import/sync feature, the App requests access to your system calendars and reads holiday/all-day events. We use this to create/update holiday countdown entries. We do not upload your calendar data to our servers.

1.4 Notifications / 通知

If you enable reminders, the App schedules local notifications on your device. We do not send remote push notifications for reminders in the current version.

1.5 Purchases (StoreKit) / 内购（StoreKit）

If you purchase “Spanoe Pro”, Apple processes the payment. We use StoreKit to determine your entitlement status. We do not receive your full payment details.

1.6 iCloud / CloudKit / iCloud 同步

If you enable iCloud/CloudKit syncing, your app data may be stored in your iCloud account. Apple acts as a service provider for iCloud/CloudKit under Apple’s policies.

2. Permissions we request / 我们请求的系统权限

Depending on what features you use, the App may request:

• Photos: to select and crop a cover image for an event.
• Calendars: to import holiday events into the “Holidays” category.
• Notifications: to schedule local reminders.

You can change permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

3. Third-party services / 第三方服务

As of this version, the App does not include third-party advertising SDKs or analytics SDKs.

4. Data retention and deletion / 数据保存与删除

• You can delete individual events/categories in the App.
• You can use “Delete All Data” in Settings to remove app data stored locally.
• If you use iCloud/CloudKit, deletion may also affect synced data depending on Apple’s sync behavior.

5. Security / 安全

We rely on iOS security features (device passcode/Face ID, app sandboxing, iCloud security) to protect your data. We follow platform best practices and minimize data access.

6. Children’s privacy / 未成年人隐私

The App is not intended for children under the age where parental consent is required. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, please contact us.

7. International users / 国际用户

Your data is processed on your device and, if iCloud/CloudKit is enabled, stored in Apple’s infrastructure, which may be located in other countries.

8. Changes to this policy / 政策更新

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above.
